Saving Wav data in to BLOB filed?

First time Newbie question...
Have tested Delphi Area components and found many very useful ones.
My quiz is: What kind of solution would be best to my "problem".
While receiving Live audio from microphone input want save sound data in the database BLOB field? Any suggestion for program concept / structure?
