How to add a new component in C++ Builder 6

I am working on Tstatusbar component of Borland Builder 6.0. As I need some additional properties to the existing component which are available in TStatusBarPro component available here, but I am not sure how to add the new component in Borland Builder 6.0.
Please guide me on the steps needed to add the new component.
