Is "no way" a good answer?
I mean, you don't need pop3 to send mail, it's just for receiving.
MAPI is shitty MS so-called standard, used to communicate between mail applications.
You need just SMTP... Or MTP... Or variation SSMTP...
Or...
Well, there is a possibility to use remote shell and remote app like sendmail, but composing is just the same. Another way is by using Web-Mail and control it. You choose.
