Do you know any good AGC, DSP or normalizing algorithm for pcm wave streams ? 8bit or 16 bit.. freeware algorithms .

I made simple for 8 bit pcm. But not so good. Real maths DSP algorithms needed. Noise threshold adjustment, attack time etc.
