|
|
Some times I get a message regarding a sample program provided for a component, whitout being in relation with the component itself.
During implemention of a component, I write a simple program to check the component's functionality. Eventually I may ship the program as sample program with the component.
Please consider that my concern was writing a component, not a complete program. Therefore, don't count on the sample program as a skeleton for your program. And, please don't ask questions like:
- Is sample program able to do ...?
- How can I change sample program to do ...?
- Why sample program doesn't do ...?
- ...
Cheers

You should be happy that all questions refer to the demo and not the library itself.
Best wishes

Of cource I can understand your concerns about getting to much questions to demo's.
(I also get a lot of users of my plugins)
But on the other side the demo is the best reference a library can have.
And when it is well done and fool prove, new users can learn much of it.
So do you want further feedback on the demo or typos in the doc?

I think this was related to the library:

There are indeed a few typos in the dicumentation but nothing serious that can couse problems. Personaly, I don't expect enything more from Kambiz than to read the bug reports, if any. I know how precious is the free time for anyone and making this library was not an easy task.
So, let all of us be rational.

Actually this thread is more about the Audio Broadcasting demo of the Wave Audio Package.
I am really regret because of including this demo in the package.

Yes, of course!
For example, Audio Mixer demo of the Wave Audio package is written by Edwin. Also, the initial demo of SimpleGraph was very simple, w2m improved it.
You can send me the sample program to include it in the zip file of its proper component. Or, we can create a new category in this message board for the sample programs.
