Hello,

Carefully read the help or "ReadMe" files to properly install the components. I can't test in XE7, but, use the I18n package with Delphi XE2 in several applications without any problem.

Hello to all,

Here I am, five years later this thread is opened, with exactly the same exception than the OP, this time trying to install the I18n package in Delphi 10.3.

Both runtime and designtime packages can be build without problems, but, when we try to install the designtime package, we only receive the referred exception.

Maybe the OP solve the problem for Delphi XE7? If so, please, post here the solution, since probably can be good also for Delphi 10.3.

Thanks in advance for the possible help! :-)

Hello to all,

Finally I can get the I18n package installed in Delphi 10.3. The problem that the referred exception means is described here for other Delphi library, in which I am based for the solution.

Basically I have three different versions of Delphi installed, and, the "Path" environment variable of Delphi 10.3 include other Delphi's installations directories, so this cause the problem: for some reason Delphi 10.3 try to use the wrong BPL, etc., and finally can't install the package.

With the right order in the "Path" environment variable, or, by removing from that variable the references to others Delphi's installations, the I18n package has been installed as expected. :-)
