how to run an exe file from a button

i need to know how to run an executable file from a button within a form (i.e. from procedure button1Click() to run wave.exe)

Sorry to be rude, but don't you read help or books that came along with delphi, or even search google for it?

Well if not, then here's an answer (simple, rest of it is in help instaled on your computer with delphi):

Try to catch something like: WinExec (I'm preety sure it is there), ShellExecute(Little harder to understand but great! unit ShellApi)

that's all you have to find. Doesn't it look simple? It is simple.

sorry your question too simple
1. winexec ..
2.shellexec
3.createprocess...

you had better to look msdn sdk
