The Real-Time Marquee Component v2.2 has been released. This is a bug fix release.

  • [bugfix] The AV exception caused by removing the component from the form has been resolved.

    thanks for your wonderfull software, one thing i need to ask u, is there a way for the items in the marquee to keep looping (roll) whem they reach the last one, i mean the pass of the last item to the first, it fills with nothing.
    dont know if i make myself understand.

    At this release there is no way to do that.
    I will try to make it possible in the next release.

    Just a few questions. Can the text scroll to opposite side when the first (last) letter reaches the end of control? And does this component support widestrings?

    No, the text only scrolls in one direction. However changing BiDiMode will change the direction.
    Yes, the component supports WideString.

    Background of control cannot be transparent, but by some tricks you can have a transparent marquee.

    im trying to adapt your component to a news ticker, but i need to make it loop, someting like the first post (by raudio) in this page.

    Hello,
    These has a problem.when CPU is more busy,and content will be a line, not a word.and so on play flash.So can replace time with thread?

    The component already uses a separate thread for timing.
    No, it cannot be transparent.

    No, it’s not. The component only does the horizontal scrolling.
